Bubbles don’t cluster at random,

they nucleate around dents and flaws

creeping and blanketing the fissures

and rusty edges of the broken system

Bubbles carry a weight of the world that few can hear

bubbles coalescing roar sonorous

there is such a thing as bubbling over,

when they evaporate without a sound,

but in the blink of an eye

the vessel erupts.
